Baptism is an outward symbol of an inward commitment, much like a wedding ring. It is a chance to “go public” with your faith, and it is an important spiritual practice. When we choose to take this step in our faith, we are not only declaring that we’ve decided to follow Jesus, we are following the example He set for us.
